Send Amelia to Bicycle Conferences

Coming up is a great opportunity to train our new director, and we need your support.

Pro Walk, Pro Bike and the Alliance for Biking and Walking Leadership Retreat are two back-to-back conferences, September 7th-13th in Long Beach, CA. This is a unique opportunity for Amelia to hone her skills, learn about the latest in bicycle and pedestrian issues, and connect with other leaders in the cycling movement.

Pro Walk, Pro Bike

Pro Walk, Pro Bike is the premier international conference on bike and pedestrian issues. The conference includes presentations and workshops showcasing the latest in bike and pedestrian advocacy, design, safety education, and policy. This will be a great opportunity to connect with other advocacy leaders and learn about the latest walking and biking topics and technologies.



Send Amelia to Bicycle Conferences


The 2012 Alliance Leadership Retreat is a hands-on, workshop-based event that aims to inspire and connect Alliance leaders with the sharing of best practices and techniques; discussion of cutting-edge campaigns; tools to increase leadership and improve organization efficiency; ways to conquer internal and external challenges; and opportunities to increase and diversify the pedestrian and bicycling movement. There will be specific tracks addressing the needs of Membership, Advocacy, Communications, Development, and Management staff.
